What I'm Watching

Because all of my favorite shows are on hiatus right now (damn you, Psych, Lost, and Battlestar Galactica) I have had to come up with other shows to occupy my time.

1. The Big-Bang Theory: I am going to come right out and say it, I have loved this show since it first aired last year. I am no longer hiding my love for Sheldon and Leonard and the rest of the guys. I love this show. Why? The main characters are more neurotic and nerdy thanI am. This show has embraced geek culture, and for that I say "Thank you!"

2. How I Met Your Mother: Why is this show so funny? Why do I love Neil Patrick Harris so much? I don't know the answer for these questions, but I recommend this show to anybody who appreciates laughing. Barney is hysterical and Robin, a former Canadian Pop-Star, is just as cynical as most of my friends.

3. Heroes: First off, I never really loved, loved this show. I watched it mostly for Jess (Peter Petrelli). This season, though, I have really fallen in love with Heroes. I mean, could Sylar be more interesting? And he's Nathan and Peter's brother? I really, really, really hope that he becomes good because I love him and want to marry him.

4. New Adventures of Old Christine: Bravo Julia Louis-Dreyfus. You have beat the Seinfeld Stigma.

5. Jon and Kate Plus 8: Could the Gosling children be more adorable? I don't think so.

6. The Dugger Family Show (the one where they just keep having children): Rachel and I watched this tonight. What a strange family. First off, the oldest son got engaged but they can't kiss until their wedding day. What's that about? And, the engaged guy claims that 97% of couples have premarital sex. I think he pulled that number out of his A@#.

7. Intervention: I cry everytime I watch Intervention. Why, oh why, are these people so troubled. Best episode, the girl that was addicted to duster.

8. Snapped: I don't know why, but learning about why women kill their husbands is fascinating. Plus, this show is almost always on. Seriously. Turn on Oxygen and I'm sure you will find it.

That's it. Have a good night.

I was with you until snapped. It lame and the ladies voice is creepy. The cult family is just so fascinating. Those people are totally kissing before they get married ! Chaperone or not!

The only one that I've seen is Heroes and that is slowly redeeming itself from the horrible season 2.

Intervention is depressing. I only mildly enjoy it because it shows how sucky my life will never be. And heroes.... well. Characters can up and disappear from one season to the next, and though I disliked those characters, I still think that's kind of crap.
anyway, no time for tv.

I also like the new and much nicer Sylar. However, I now dislike almost every other character. I still like the man with the horn-rimmed glasses, unless they have made him into a wuss.
I feel somewhat naive and ignorant because I don't know any of the other shows....
